Mrs. Wienke was my 3rd grade teacher at Lake Center school, between Terril and Spencer. She is honestly the teacher who made the most impact on my life by teaching me that learning can and should be a lifelong process. I remember getting out of the 4 walls of the classroom and learning about things in nature all around the building, especially birds! She inspired me to read for pleasure and ignited a passion for that which continues to this day. I treasure all my memories of her and my year with her.
