David & Marian Given posted a condolence
Friday, April 10, 2020
I remember as a young teenager, working at Homer's Clover Farm grocery store in Paullina, Iowa on Saturday's. The farmers' wives would bring in their grocery lists for us to fill and put in boxes. Then they would meet a friend and sit in a car visiting. Just before closing, they would come back in to get their groceries. Homer was usually busy cutting cold meats and cheeses. Mother Marie and Alva Stoever worked full-time during the week. There are lots of memories, too numerous to recount, but needless to say, I will miss my only remaining brother-in-law. May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Prayers and condolences to Rita and Sam, Julie and Lonnie, Lisa and Larry, Scott and Mary, Perry and Pam and all the grandchildren.
Love,
Marian & David Given
