Jack and I send sincere condolences to you, Suzi, and to the entire Danbom family. Any Okoboji childhood memory I have includes Jerry barefoot on the beach and in the water. We all shared a wild, free-range youth at the lake. Jerry was always the sweet fellow, and he stayed that way throughout his life.

Suzie and Family,
So sorry for your loss. The neighborhood will not be the same without seeing Jerry walk the dogs. He will be missed. Praying that God surrounds you with tender mercies.
My brother, Dean, who lives in Rhode Island now, remembers working for Jerry in 1977 putting in hoists. He fondly remembers it was a great summer and sends his condolences also.

Very Sorry for your loss. Jerry was such a nice guy. I remember back to the 80's when my cousin Tim Bertelsen would snowmobile race with Jerry, Alex and crew. They are now reunited in heaven. God bless all of the Danbom family.

Suzie and family - the Northup family is so sorry for your loss. Jerry always brought activity to the neighborhood. From having the big water slide for the neighborhood kids to play on, walking his dogs around the neighborhood and back in the day, racing his boats and snowmobiles in Browns Bay. I will always be grateful for knowing Uncle Jerry. He always had a half smile that was so very warm and a sparkle in his eyes that felt like a hug. Veda and Norah loved their Uncle Jer and so did I. I imagine him some place- doing something to make something go faster- with Alex right now!
