Mary Lou assisted in ministries at church. Always a smile & willing to help in anyway she could. My mother was recently able to share a dining table with Mary Lou at Accura. She was kind and included Mom in the conversation. Her kindness will be remembered.

Lisa and Family,
We are sorry for the loss of your mom. She is happy to be reunited with Grandma, Grandpa, Gilbert, Merle and many others. She sure fought hard to leave but is happily at peace with her body and mind again. As hard as the last few months have been we have a lot of funny memories to take of your mom. I have a lot of fond memories of your mom at Triboji. I will never forget when the DNR was going to come get us. We could write a book of the all the fun times. I know you will miss her so much but she is not hurting and happy and free from the worldly medical issues. Love you all.

Mary Lou was such a wonderful person. Ron and I always enjoyed her company. She also enjoyed talking with our grandchildren. Her smile said it all when she would be talking to them. She loved children and that is what made her a wonderful teacher. She was so caring and took such good care of Gilbert. She missed him so much. Mary Lou will continue to be in our hearts. Rest in peace.

My sympathies to MaryLou’s family. She became such a positive support to the Doocys through the years. We knew a phone call or a house visit would bring such smiles to us from Mary Lou. Table friends when Gilbert was at Accura cemented a common friendship among our families. A dear, one-of-a-kind special soul is stepping to heaven. While I know she will love her reunion with Gilbert, we will selfishly miss them both here on earth. Dear MaryLou, thank you for positively impacting my life!
