My horseshoe pitching buddy when he lived in Alta and I lived in Pocahontas. We battled it out on the horseshoe court many times. Heaven just gained another good guy.

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He will be missed. Let your memories sustain you. I grew up up next to Fred as a kid. Later knowing him he would call his niece and my daughter Bacon and Lazy (Megan and Lacey). I'm not sure they thought much of this but it was hilarious at the time.

I didnt know him that much but we worked together at Polaris for a short time- he never failed to boost the morale of the people around him, and he always wanted people to improve. He will definitely be missed by many.
