Obituary of Edward Stary

Edward Ray Stary was born in Dallas County, Iowa near Redfield on January 15, 1915. He was the youngest of four children to Edward T. and Olive F. (Cave) Stary. He went to country school through the 7th grade and finished his education at Redfield Consolidated School in Redfield, Iowa. He married Marie Masters on February 9, 1935 and they lived on a farm near Redfield for forty years. He worked at the brickyard for twenty-six years and at many other jobs before retiring. They moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa in 1981 where he spent most of his time (you guessed it) fishing. Marie passed away September 12, 1994. She was the oldest of three sisters who preceded her in death. On September 10, 1996 he married Beulah Banning of Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in Spirit Lake until 1998 when they moved to their present address in Huachuca City, Arizona. Edward passed May 23, 2010 in Arizona at ninety-five years of age. Graveside services were held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Lakeview Cemetery in Spirit Lake.
