Obituary of Gwen Miller

Gwendolyn Ruth Miller was born September 27, 1930 at the family home east of Arnolds Park, Iowa, the daughter of Curtis Eugene Bundy and Marie Mildred (Longshore) Bundy. She graduated from Arnolds Park High School. On February 8, 1949, Gwen was united in marriage to Leland Earl Miller in Arnolds Park. The family made their home in Milford, Iowa and attended the Friends Church in Arnolds Park. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing carpet rags with the ladies. She loved to beat everyone at cribbage and the Sunday morning visits for coffee. She also enjoyed the special time spent with her grandchildren. Gwen passed away April 15, 2010 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at seventy-nine years of age. Gwen is survived by one daughter, Shirley Caviness and her husband, Tom, of Milford and their children, Courtney Caviness of Round Rock, Texas and son Brett Caviness of Cedar Falls, Iowa; three sons, Lauren Miller of Milford and his daughters, Shawna, Tanya and Melinda, Tim Miller of Milford and his daughter, Alyssa, Terry Miller and his wife, Angie, of Brookings, South Dakota and their daughters, Bradi and Madison; one daughter-in-law, Pam Miller of Everly; grandson, Justin Miller of Ankeny, Iowa; granddaughter, Jessica and her husband, Nick, of Huxley, Iowa; one sister, Bonnie Wunder of Lake Park; one sister-in-law, Virginia Bundy of Minnetonka, Minnesota; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leland; two sons, Larry and Dennis; one brother, Cyril Bundy and one sister, Mildred Sams.
