Obituary of Richard Lyle Schultz

Richard Lyle "Schultze" Schultz, 77, of Spirit Lake passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 at the Hilltop Care Center. Richard was born in Bronson, Iowa, to John and Elsie Schultz. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was married for fifty years to Shirley Anne Schultz. They lived for many years in Elkhorn, Nebraska while he was employed by Kitty Clover and Fairmont Foods. After retirement they moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. Richard is survived by his wife, Shirley Schultz; daughter, Debra Kohlhaase and her husband, Dave; son, Michael Schultz and his wife, Marti; three grandchildren, D.J. and Jamie Kohlhaase and Danielle Schultz. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie and a brother, Clifford.
