Obituary of Ralph Boles
Ralph Boles was born September 20, 1927 in Hartley, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Sadie (VanCleve) Boles. On March 22, 1953, Ralph was united in marriage to Delores May Hunt in Milford, Iowa. The family lived west of Milford until moving into town in 1956.
He farmed and worked general construction. He enjoyed gardening and riding his yellow bicycle all over Milord. His favorite color was yellow and he loved to paint with yellow. His motto was, "It always looks a little better with a touch of yellow". To this day you will find everything around the house with a touch of yellow.
Ralph passed away August 10, 2009 at the Milford Nursing Center in Milford, Iowa at eighty-one years of age.
He is survived by his wife, Delores; son, Bruce Boles of Ventura, California; daughter, Donna Hollier and son-in-law, Steve Hollier of Houston, Texas; twin brother, Roy Boles of Spirit Lake and sister, Evelyn Dotson of Arnolds Park.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Sadie Boles; brother, Earl Boles and two nephews, John Boles and Larry Boles.
