We also enjoyed and appreciated Opal's friendship and guidance while settling in Okoboji! She and Wally were so kind to offer us a home when ours wasn't completed to move into and a walk away to work on it in the winter while they were in AZ. A few years later she 'rescued' us again by caring for our daughter when she was 2 years old when our babysitter was unavailable! Erin and Opal had such a 'grand adventure' together! She was so bright and energetic, a great model to emulate!

I enjoyed Opal back in the Koffee Kup days when Opal worked for me... What a spirited and interesting lady. I could listen to her for hours... And what didn't she do?? She did it all. You will be missed!

Opal was an important person and a great influence in our lives and that of our daughters. She always had words of wisdom and was willing to offer advice. We had so many wonderful times and laughs over the years with she and Wally.
She will be missed by many!
