Obituary of Paul Anderson

Paul Silas Anderson was born on July 11, 1935 to Paul Silas Anderson and Glee Adams Anderson. He attended school in Milford and enlisted in the Army serving sixteen months overseas in Germany, Holland and France. After returning to Milford in 1962, he worked for Bever Excavating. Paul then worked for the Dickinson County Road Department from 1970 to November of 2007. He married Joyce Wintz in 1963. On June 5, 1993, Paul was united in marriage to Gwen Schumacher at The Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Paul passed away on September 14, 2008 at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, Iowa at seventy-three years of age. Preceded Paul in death are his parents, first wife, Joyce and brother, Charles. Paul is survived by wife, Gwen; children, Chelye Pereyda (Alfie), Mike Anderson (Tracy), Jennifer McDonald (David) and step-children, Rhonda Guthrie, Dave Schumacher (Trudy) and Ruth Hay (Jim); grandchildren, Tyler and Jada Pereyda, Henry and Sophia Anderson, Allison, Matthew, Emma and Kellie McDonald, Reed White, David Guthrie, Sara and Jack Schumacher, Riley and Sophia Hay; mother-in-law, Ruth Stephas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
