Obituary of Eva Garloff

Eva Mae Marie Garloff was born September 19, 1930 in Spirit Lake, Iowa, daughter of Oscar and Alvina (Spies) Holm. Eva was united in marriage to Arnold Garloff. She lived in Lake Park, Iowa and Abbotsford, Wisconsin. Eva worked as a homemaker and a farm wife for many years. She moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa in 1984, after Arnold passed away. She enjoyed farm animals, raising parakeets and loved flowers. Eva passed away on September 27, 2008 at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake, Iowa at seventy-eight years of age. She is survived by one brother, Edward Holm and his wife, Wanda of Waterloo, Iowa; many nieces and nephews. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Alvina Holm; husband, Arnold Garloff; sister, Mildred Brown; brothers, John, Bill, Bart, Ted, Howard and Robert Holm.
