Obituary of Gordon Garnjobst

Gordon Garnjobst was born July 11, 1956 at Hartley, Iowa the son of Ardell and Lotta (Kostrewa) Garnjobst. He was raised and educated in Milford, Iowa, graduating from Milford High School. Gordon furthered his education at Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, where he received his B.A.. He received his Masters Degree at William & Mary University in West Virginia and his PhD. at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. He returned to Milford in 2000. He enjoyed riding bicycle, listening to music and outdoor activities. Gordon was survived by his parents, Ardell and Lotty Garnjobst of Milford; sisters, Linda (Lee) Petersen of Milford and Joan McCoig of Severville, Tennessee; brother, David Garnjobst of Huxley, Iowa; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert and Ruth Garnjobst and Wilhelm and Martha Kostrewa.
