Obituary of Frank J. Mastrorilli
Memorial services were held Tuesday, April 22 at Turner Funeral Home in Milford for Frank J. Mastrorilli of Spencer, who passed away Saturday, April 19 at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
Frank was born to Andrei and Agata (Marzola) Mastrorilli on September 14, 1922 in Ossing, New York. He was a graduate of Ossing High School and served in the U. S. Army from 1942 to 1945 as a lab technician.
On April 1, 1951 he was married to Gladyce Hanson of Mahnomen, Minnesota. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was employed at the Boston Store, Wrens and Krogers Grocery, all in Springfield, Ohio. Frank enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Frank is survived by his two daughters and their spouses, Patti and Dale Nelson of LuVerne, MN and Sharon and Steve Hanson of Milford; four grandchildren, Tate, Kristen and her husband ,Joe Heinicke, David and Scott; two sisters, Francis Grace, Allentown, PA and Lucy Johnson and husband Harry, Portsmouth, RI. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Gladyce, his parents, and four brothers, Ben Leonelli, Domnick Leonelli, Nick Mastrorilli and Tony Mastrorilli.
Rev. Bob Vaage of First Lutheran Church of Milford officiated. Burial was in Newcomer Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa or Hospice in Storm Lake, Iowa. Turner funeral Home in Milford was in charge of the services and burial.
