Obituary of Vernon Bueltel

Funeral: Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spirit Lake Burial: St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Estherville Vernon William Bueltel was born March 8, 1931 in Estherville, Iowa to Joseph and Rose (Loneman) Bueltel. He attended high school in Superior, Iowa. Vernon served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Juanita Umscheid on September 15, 1962. They spent their lifetime farming in Superior, Iowa. Vernon was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Vernon passed away at Avera Holy Family Health in Estherville, Iowa on October 17, 2012 at eighty-one years of age. Vernon is survived by his wife, Juanita; children, Susan Michelson (Jeff), Steve Bueltel (Deb), Sharon Bueltel, Vickie Willemssen (John), Shelly Hardy (Ryan) and Julie Bueltel (Jared); grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke, Trevor, Alexandra, Landen, Jordan, Jaden and Cooper. He is also survived by his siblings, Margie Fredrickson, Bonnie Dahl, Janice Helmers and Jim Bueltel; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl Bueltel, Pat (Wayne) Bueltel and Jerry Bueltel; grandchildren, Taylor Willemssen and Nicholas Willemssen.
