Obituary of Hazel Swenson

Hazel Victoria Swenson was born November 8, 1921 in Osgood, Iowa, the daughter of Edwin and Mary (Barnheart) Besaw. She was united in marriage to Victor Luehring on May 29, 1939. Victor passed away in 1974. Hazel was united in marriage to Marvin Swenson on October 29, 1977. In their retirement, they enjoyed traveling the country delivering recreational vehicles for Winneabago in Forest City to various dealerships. Marvin passed away in 2004. Hazel passed away at Longhouse Residence in Spencer, IA on August 21, 2007 at eighty-five years of age. Left to cherish her memory are nieces, nephews, friends and other family; god-daughter, Elizabeth Shuck of Spencer; special friends, Ardith and Larry Shuck of Hartley and Raymond Banks of Spencer. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Victor and Marvin; brothers, Clifford, Obe, and Eddie Besaw; sisters, Rita Schubert, Lena Stillmach and Dora Spencer.
