Obituary of Brad Simpson
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012, at 10:30 am at the First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji, Iowa. Burial will be at Milford Cemetery in Milford, Iowa.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 29, 2012, after 3 pm with the family present from 5 to 7 pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.
Mr. Simpson passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at his home in Primghar at forty years of age.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Brad.
Bradly Alan Simpson was born on September 9th, 1972 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He was son of Gary and Julie (Smith) Simpson. Brad attended grade school and graduated from Okoboji High School in Milford in the Class of 1991. He went on to extend his education at Iowa Lakes Community College in the field of Graphic Arts and Design, where he graduated in 1993. Brad was united in marriage to Sherri Neuman in August of 1994 and of this marriage was blessed with a son, Brett Alan Simpson. Brad united in marriage with Diane Schwarz on July 31, 2004 and from this marriage was blessed with his son Jakob Bradly Simpson .
Brad grew up and lived most of his life in Milford before recently moving and residing in Primghar, Iowa.
After college, Brad, had worked at many different printing places and newspaper companies, he even took a break from printing and worked for a couple of different lumber yards before realizing that printing was his true passion. Brad was currently employed at White Wolf printing in Sheldon as a Pressman.
Brad had many joys in life. He liked to go fishing, he liked to go to NASCAR races with his little brother Jason, He liked to do wood working projects and build different things, as he was a all around handy man. He also loved the game of NFL football. Brad was a lifetime fan of the Seattle Seahawks and a Matt Kenseth fan in the world of NASCAR racing.
Brad passed away at his home in Primghar on November 26th 2012 at the age of 40 years old.
Left to cherish in his memory is son, Brett Simpson, son Jakob Simpson, wife Dianne Simpson (Schwartz) and her children Ashleigh, Dylan, and Emilee, his mother Julie Simpson (Welle) and her husband Dick Welle, his brother Jason and wife Billie Reason (Simpson) and children Austin and Avery, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins
Brad was preceded into death by his father, Gary, grandparents Donald and Mildred Simpson, uncles Denny Simpson, Jay Lighter and aunt Connie Simpson (Karl).
