Obituary of Mitch Clarence Mitchell

A funeral service for Mitch Clarence Mitchell, 77, of Spirit Lake, will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Lake Park.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Silver Lake Cemetery in Lake Park.

Mitch Clarence William Mitchell, the son of Clarence and Anna (Laue) Mitchell was born on October 15, 1941 in rural Minnesota.

Mitch was united in marriage to Sarah Holck. They lived in Estherville and Lake Park before purchasing their home in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Mitch passed away at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, Iowa at the age of seventy-seven.

Mitch is survived by his wife, Sarah Mitchell; children, Kris Jansen of Milford, Vicky Peterson of What Cheer, Iowa, Patricia McNabb of Renton, Washington, Laura Delgado of Spirit Lake and Don Delgado of Lake Park; sisters, Jo Ann Steinhart and Jean Weilert of Clarksville, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Anna Mitchell; three brothers and three sisters.
