Obituary of Brian Clinkenbeard

A memorial gathering for Brian Clinkenbeard, age 31, of Spirit Lake, will be held Thursday, February 13th from 1:00-3:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Following the time of visitation, there will be a time of reflection and prayer at 3:00PM. Brian Kenneth Lee Clinkenbeard was born to Donna (Fullerton) Clinkenbeard and Richard Clinkenbeard on April 25, 1988 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. He graduated from Logan Magnolia Community School. He lived in various places including Mason City, Algona and Spencer before moving to Spirit Lake, Iowa in 2019. He enjoyed video games, working out and was an electrical apprentice. He was an aspiring inventor and always said he wanted to invent something life changing. He loved sunrises, sunsets and stars but his greatest joy came from spending time with his children. Brian passed away February 6, 2020 at thirty-one years of age. With his brightness and energetic nature he was loved by all and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his mother, Donna Clinkenbeard; father, Richard Clinkenbeard and step-mother, Cheryl Clinkenbeard; brothers, Robert Clinkenbeard and William Clinkenbeard and his wife, Heather; daughters, Brooklynn and Kenli and his son, Cooper; many other relatives and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Clinkenbeard; aunt, Jeannie Mitchell; uncle, Charles Fullerton and cousin, Jason Meyer.
