Obituary of Don Wolterman

A service will be held at a later date for Don Wolterman, 63, of Milford.

Donald Wayne Wolterman was born on November 13, 1956 in Algona, Iowa to Floy and Mary (Miller) Wolterman. He graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1975.

He married Laila Collins in 1988 and they had two sons, Tyler and Ryan. Don worked for Wunder Upholstery in Milford, Iowa until his health failed. He also worked as a handyman.

Don passed away July 15, 2020 at his home in Milford.

He is survived by his wife, Laila of thirty-two years; two sons, Tyler Wolterman (military) of Romania and Ryan of Utah; two special canine friends, Sammi and Cooper; his mother, Mary Wolterman of Spirit Lake; two sisters, Debra (Robert) Faulkner of Arnolds Park and Louise (Mark) Foxhoven of Spencer; one brother, Dean Wolterman of Spirit Lake; brother-in-law, Tom Radcliffe of Arnolds Park; mother-in-law, Ardis Collins of Lake Park and nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Floy Wolterman; two sisters, Linda Radcliffe and an infant sister, Lori; father-in-law, Leon Collins.

Don will be greatly missed by family and lots and lots of friends.
