I was extremely saddened to learn of Dennis' passing. We dated at University of Denver, and although we didn't stay together, we did stay in touch throughout the years. I send my heartfelt condolences to all of his friends and to Colleen and her family, and hope that his memories provide some comfort. Rest in Peace Dennis.

I have been having a difficult time writing this. What can say when one of your best friends for over 40 years and the best man at your wedding (picture posted) passes away suddenly? I reflect back on all the time that we spent together from the road trip to California, the time we spent at the lake or San Diego and various ski trips. Each adventure has left an imprint on my life. We had many phrases that only we understood the context of why they were funny or profound. The phrases will stay with me and yet there will be no one there other than my memories to understand and smile. Denny was always a phone call away when I needed a supporting voice. Even though we had different opinions of the world at times, we always respected each other views. (Obviously Denny’s was wrong). I will surely miss my friend. My prayers go out to Colleen and the rest of the family.
