Jim and Family,
Janice and I graduated from high school together. She and the country school kids came into our town school class in seventh grade. That made up all 23 students in the mighty Hancock High School Class of 1964! I was so blessed to visit with Janice about a year ago at her dad's funeral. I also met TJ that day. May wonderful memories bring us comfort.
My very deepest sympathy to you and all of Janice's family.

I don’t know how to honor her and all she met to my nursing career. She was the first to make me aware of the power of listening to patients, really listening, to help them heal. She mentioned how she liked the song by Peggy Lee, Is that all there is. It doesn’t seem like a sad song at all when I think of Jan, If that’s all there is...then let’s keep dancing.

Jim: What a shock to hear the very sad news of your loss.
I have such fond memories of sitting next to you and Jan at our 50th high school class reunion in Holstein. She had such great experiences and stories to tell. And, as others have commented, what a great laugh she had.
It is so sad to be without her but what a wonderful life's legacy she left behind with all the great work she has done for both her local and greater communities. She has definitely left this world a better place.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I hardly know where to start with my 53+ years of memories. Jan & I were classmates at Fairview and she was one of my "besties". Right after graduation we bought our first car together and traveled to Maine where we had jobs as camp nurses. She was the only one to celebrate my 21st birthday (in a canoe with Jan singing!). My first plane ride was with het to NYC - saw our first Broadway play and scored a lunch at the UN with several international delegates. I was privileged to accompany her to Spain where she spoke to an international conference on aging.
I miss her already and cherish the special memories
Blessings to Jim and family. I know there will be a big void in your space.
