Obituary of Virginia Sangl

A visiation for Virginia Sangl, age 85, of Dunnell, Minnesota, will be on Saturday, April 17, 2021, from 1-3 pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake, followed by a burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Spirit Lake.

Virginia Eleanor Sangl, the daughter of Lawrence and Eleanor (Bettinger) Willardson, was born October 10, 1935 in Round Lake, Minnesota. She graduated from Spirit Lake High School in 1954.

Virginia married Robert Sangl and were blessed with four children.  She was a devout Christian who was devoted to her family.  A lover of all animals, she enjoyed time outdoors gardening, fishing, playing with the kids and walking her beloved dog, Nona.

Virginia passed away on January 6, 2021, at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown, South Dakota at eighty-five years of age.

She is survived by her children, Randy Sangl of Watertown, South Dakota, Patsy Gebhart of Watertown, South Dakota, Rob Sangl and daughter-in-law, Nancy Sangl and their families; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents and son, Terry Sangl.
