Tom was a dear friend. One of my favorite memories was a ski trip to the Black Hills that my husband Richard and I took with Tom and another friend in 1970. None of us had skied before and Tom wore a brand new pair of denim. Everywhere he fell, he left a blue skid mark! We all laughed so hard all day. I have many good memories of our youthful adventures, but am also grateful for the times we were able to visit these last few summers in Le Mars. Tom will be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. We will miss getting together with him at our biannual LeMars/Okoboji luncheons.
Tom made HS chorus and band a lot of fun! He will always hold a special place in our hearts.

In keeping with our long standing tradition of referring to each other by our initials, either in person or via email correspondence, it is with heavy hearts that we recognize TB's passing. Having served with him for many years on the Landings Board of Directors and as a committee chairperson, we cannot overstate our deep gratitude for the contributions he made to improving the quality of life for our Landings neighbors and for the genuine friendship we developed with him during this time. We join his family in mourning his loss and will miss his cheerful, thoughtful presence going forward. As per his beloved Scottish heritage, we bid TB adieu in his Gaelic tongue: "Fois dhut" our friend, "Fois dhut" until we meet again.
