Obituary of Mark Brummund

A Celebration of Life for Mark Brummund, age 68, will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Milford Community Center. 

Mark Brummund, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Wahpeton, Iowa on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was born in Mankato, Minnesota to Arnold and LaDonna (Schwantes) Brummund. He spent his childhood in Mankato, graduating from Mankato High School in 1971.

Music, entertaining and fishing were his passions. He was MC Express!

Mark is survived by his fiancé, Kathy Derner of Wahpeton; daughters, Kris Moore of Mankato, Minnesota and Teresa (Mark) Bechtold, of Andover, Minnesota; grandchildren, Kara and Emily Brewer, Alex and Zachary Bechtold and Daniel Moore; great-granddaughter, Miah Brewer; Kathy’s children, Kristy (Josh) Miller of Milford, Iowa and Jeff (Tonya) Derner of Waverly, Iowa and Kathy’s grandchildren, Lily, Oliver and Liam Miller; sisters, Joy (Arlen) Maloney of Madelia, Minnesota and Becki (Ronald) Schmitz of Belle Plaine, Minnesota; many other special friends and family.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and LaDonna Brummund; daughter, Bobbi Kuball. He was loved by many other special friends and family.
