Obituary of David Schoorman

A funeral service for David Schoorman, 66, of Milford, will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:30am at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Burial will be at Milford Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 18th after 4:00pm with the family present from 5:00-7:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. 

David Lee Schoorman, the son of Ruby and Shirley (Bever) Schoorman, was born July 7, 1955 in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

David was raised and educated in Milford, Iowa. He farmed with his father until his passing in 1999 and then continued farming with his son until David became ill.

David passed away August 14, 2021 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at sixty-six years of age.

He is survived by his sons, Wes Schoorman and his wife, Jessie and Brad Schoorman and his wife, Staci; daughter, Clara Schoorman; grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kya, Avery and Finn; brother, Gary and his wife, Klaren; former wife, Donna Schoorman.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Shirley Schoorman.
