Obituary of Sandra Garlough

Sandra Faye “Sassy” (Pedersen) Garlough, age 76, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2021 at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, with her four boys by her side who she loved dearly.

Sandra was a very loved woman who enjoyed many things like crosswords, cards, going to the casino and traveling. She also enjoyed watching game shows, cooking shows and football where she rooted for the Vikings and Hawkeyes.

Sandra moved around with her late husband, Grady, to many locations including Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Mississippi and Iowa. She loved having her family around and really enjoyed when her boys would show up and play cards. It would be what she talked about to others for days after.

Sandra had so many stories about her life and enjoyed talking to anyone and everyone about them.

Sandra is survived by her four boys, Bryan (Michelle), Kent (Jana), Michael (Veronica) and Chad (Trudy); grandchildren, Jamie, Tabatha, Amber, Ryan, Grant, Tabetha, Angela, Kane, Abby, Saralyn, Zach, Garret, Jared and Cole; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Grady and her parents, Frank and Nova Irene Stoddard.

A private family service will be held at a later date for Sandra.
