Obituary of Robert Stafford

A Celebration of Life for Robert (Bob) Stafford, 78, of Harris, will be held at a later date.

Robert LeRoy Stafford, the son of Keith and Josephine Stafford, was born January 20, 1943 in Spooner, Wisconsin. After graduation from high school, Robert attended Brown School of Broadcasting.

Throughout his life, Bob worked as a radio broadcaster and lived in Brainerd, Minnesota, Pequot Lakes, Minnesota and Vero Beach, Florida before moving to Harris, Iowa ten years ago. Bob enjoyed playing the piano, organ and working on computers.

Bob passed away December 21, 2021 at Aspire Nursing Home in Estherville, Iowa at seventy-eight years of age.

He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Dalbotten of Oelwein, Iowa; son, Kyle Stafford of Harris, Iowa; son, Scott Stafford of Maryland; grandchildren, David Hofmann, Christopher Hofmann, Cody Freeberg, Emilie Freeberg, Samantha Stafford, Ethan Simcox, Tristan Stafford, McKayla Stafford and Alisa Pitman; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Austin and Nathan Hofmann, Mason and Cali Rae Freeberg.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Josephine Stafford and daughter, Crystal Malzac.
