I had the privilege of knowing Duane, Pat, Don, Connie, and Nancy. We went to the same church, and I babysat their three children in my teens. Later on I worked with Duane at Berkley, Inc. now Pure Fishing. He was a great friend and he will be truly missed by many.
I said a prayer for you today, although you didn't hear.
I asked God to help you with your grief and to lessen your fear.
May each day your grief become more bearable, and give you more peace of mind.
You have lost a very special person who was to everyone so kind.

Rest in Peace Uncle Duane. I'll always remember that every time I saw him he would tap me on the top of the head with his "thumper" finger as he called it! He was one of a kind and will be missed.

Dear Ellis Family,
We are thinking about your loss and our hearts and prayers are with you. I will always remember Duane as a joyous and fun loving man, he always lifted my spirits. I was sorry I didn't get a chance to see him last April when I was in Spirit Lake visiting, but I was glad to have opportunity to talk with Pat and get an update on Duane.
Sincerely,
Kirk and Dominique Miller
