Our hearts are heavy with the passing of Gwen. Gwen was very special to our family and we enjoyed the many visits with her. She was a very selfless lady that put other’s needs before her own. This was very evident in her service to her Lord. Gwen’s faith was steadfast and unwavering and is evident in the many service organizations she was involved in. She loved her family unconditionally. We are forever grateful to have been a part of Gwen’s life. We will miss her greatly but we know her seat was prepared for her and she is serving in heaven just as she did on earth! Blessed be the memory of our dear friend Gwen.

Our dearest sister, Gwendolyn Kreisel Vetter, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2022 at the age of 90.
years.
Those were busy years. She began working for Bell Telephone Company after she graduated from Lake Park High School. She was employed there until she reached retirement age.
During those years she became the wife of her high school sweetheart, Quentin Graff. He passed shortly after they were married due to an illness.
Some years later, she married Leslie Vetter. They farmed by Spirit Lake and raised Leslie’s four childen, Lyle, George, Carrie and Bette, until he passed away.
Gwen had a number of hobbies. She loved playing her organ, painting and crocheting. But, most of her time was spent in service to her Lord. She was an active member at Immanuel Lutheran, a volunteer with St. Luke’s Nursing Home and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Gwen was a role model for us younger siblings, Sharon, (Wintz), Dick Kreisel, Marilyn Harmon, Rita (Rodenberg) Connie ((MacNabb) as well as her step children, Lyle, George , Carrie (Kiner), and Bette.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Leona Kreisel, her two husbands Quentin Graff and Leslie Vetter, Sister Sharon Wintz, Brother Richard Kreisel, and two brother-in-law s, Bill Wintz and Jim MacNabb, and stepson, Lyle Vetter.
Gwen was loved and will be missed by many. Among those are two very special friends, Jeff and Penny Ashland who loved her and watched out for her. We, as a family are forever grateful to them!
We know that Gwen is rejoicing and at peace in her new home. She was welcomed by her Heavenly Father with the words “Well done good and Faithful Servant.”

I only knew Gwen for a short time, but she was a lovely lady with a sparkle in her eye, and was always willing to visit. What a sweet lady whose faith in God and love for Jesus always shone through. May you Rest In Peace Gwen, and may our Lord hold you in Eternity. My condolences to Gwen’s family and friends.
