Oh, my Uncle Verne! What a wonderful uncle he was! I admired his brilliance, his athletic abilities, and his faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. As a child, I looked forward to all the Sunday dinners at Grandpa Hansen's house with Uncle Verne, Aunt Kathryn, and my cousins. We had so much fun! It taught me how important family is. And Christmas at Uncle Verne's house was exciting. I couldn't wait to play checkers with Uncle Verne! I just wanted to beat him just once! Most importantly, I watched how he witnessed his faith in Jesus Christ. Yes, he was a remarkable uncle! Yes, one of a kind! Our condolences to the entire Hansen family. Jean and Cliff

Mr. Hansen (my father would be very upset with me if I called you Verne). I remember all the times fondly when Nancy and I would drive back and forth between your home and mine and then off on our journeys around the lakes areas . I'm sure that you and my Dad shook your heads more that once. Thanks in part to you and my Dad we are the women we are today. Condolences to your family. To the Family of Verne, I want to send sympathy and prayers to all the family. The Verne Hansen family has been in my life for such a long time. So many happy memories. I was fortunate to be able to visit Verne last summer when Nance and I made a trip there. All his children were there and had such a good time. Many laughs and shared memories. May Verne be with Kate now. Blessings on everyone.

To the Family of Verne Hansen: So sorry to hear about Verne ----He is now where he has wanted to be for some time. Verne was such a wonderful person and we HOLD many many wonderful memories of both he and Kate. Losing someone is never an easy thing to bear. It never has been. Verne loved his family and friends whether in the community , on the golf course or at church. Verne always greeted everyone with his gentle smile and demeanor. God blessed Verne and we were blessed to have known him. Steve and Anna Moore
