Obituary of Larry Bamsey Jr.

A visitation to celebrate the life of Larry Bamsey Jr., age 64, of Spirit Lake will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2:00-5:00pm at the Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. 

Larry Dean Bamsey, Jr., the son of Carol and Larry Bamsey, Sr., was born July 14, 1958 in Manchester, Iowa. After his high school and college education, he served his county in the United States Army.

Throughout his life, Larry worked as a truck driver and lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, Jackson, Minnesota and Emmetsburg, Iowa before moving to Spirit Lake, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Yolanda A. Bamsey.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing pool and was a Minnesota Vikings fan. Larry was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church

Larry joined his Creator on September 15, 2022, at sixty-four years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda A. Bamsey of Spirit Lake.
