Obituary of Charlotte "Anne" Studer

Charlotte "Anne" Studer, 76, of Spirit Lake, died at her home November 8th, 2022. Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 3:00pm. 

Charlotte Anne Trosin was born on April 15th, 1946. She was born into a very large family and had 13 brothers and sisters. After graduation from Sherburn High School, Anne (as she liked to be called), married Steven Studer in 1966. The couple later divorced but were blessed with 4 children. Anne eventually made Spirit Lake her home where she worked at Berkley Fishing and then worked at Polaris for many years. She retired but continued to work part-time at Caseys. She will be remembered for her small frame but always feisty attitude.

Honoring the memory of Anne are her children, Brenda (Darrin) Eckard of Rockwell City, IA, Christy (Scott) Cline of Johnston, IA, Curtis Studer of Emmetsburg, IA and Jamie Studer of Phoenix, Az. Her four grandchildren, Joshua Lastine (Silvia) of Santa Monica, CA; Colten Lastine of Colorado Springs, CO; Kyle Cline of Johnston, IA; and Maddisyn Studer of Emmetsburg, IA. Her brothers, Paul (Butch) Trosin, Kenny Trosin, Gary Trosin, Larry Trosin; and sisters Carol Bretzman, Linda Takkunen, and Janet Erdmann.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vivian Bretzman and Martin Trosin; her sisters, Esther Trosin, Marion Thompson; and brothers, Wilber Trosin. Robert Trosin, Donald Trosin and Gene Trosin.
