Obituary of Carol Koep

A Memorial Service for Carol Koep, age 85, of Milford will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:30am at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Inurnment will be in the Little Sioux Lutheran Cemetery in Milford. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:30-10:30am at the funeral home.

Carol passed away December 5, 2022, at Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley.

Carol Ann (Brinkley) Koep was born on August 29, 1937, in Dickinson County, Iowa to Dale and Gladys (Stukey) Brinkley. She graduated from Milford High School in 1955.  

Throughout her life, Carol was involved with her church including teaching Sunday School. She held a variety of jobs including nursing assistant and at the Rock and Roll Museum. She loved crafts, gardening and spending time with family.

Left to cherish his memory are her children: Bruce (Kim) Koep, Jean (Ron) Wilms, Alan (Sheryl) Koep; her brothers, Donald (Judy) Brinkley and Dwight (Mary) Brinkley and many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother David, and her daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Karen, Cecil and Shane Coombs.
