Obituary of Beth Heide

A visitation for Beth Lynn Heide, age 55, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, will be held from 4 - 7 pm, Monday, January 30, 2023, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held this summer.  Beth passed away on January 24, at her home in Spirit Lake.

She was born in Carlton, Minnesota on March 10, 1967. She went to Cloquet High School, was a great athlete, and excelled in swimming where she holds a record for almost 20 years. She loved the outdoors, cross country skiing, and biking.

Beth was a loving mother to her son Nathan. She moved to Spirit Lake in 1992 where she eventually found her soulmate, Glen Heide. They married on October 8^th, 1994 and took their first of many Caribbean trips. She enjoyed exploring new places, spending time with her family, and riding the motorcycle with her husband. She travelled to all but one state in the lower 48 by motorcycle. She enjoyed spaghetti night with her husband and family followed by her favorite chocolate. She was the best Mimi to her granddaughter, Evelynn, who she loved more than one could imagine.

Those who knew Beth knew how full of life she truly was. She was the life of every party and found the good in all situations/circumstances. Her saying of “It’s all good” guided her through life. She loved unconditionally and expected nothing in return. Always putting others before herself.

Beth worked various jobs throughout the Lakes Region. Many of which involved working with the public. Most would know her for her big smile and ability to complete the task. She enjoyed getting to know each of her customers.

Beth is survived by her husband, Glen and their son, Nathan and his wife, Liz and a beautiful granddaughter, Evelynn as well as her mom, four brothers, and two sisters.
