Precious Lorraine was faithful for years attending Okoboji Christian Women’s Connection, always the sweetest countenance & full of the love of Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17.

Lorraine and her dear parents made the gracious decision to take our Mom/Grandma, Vivian Hachmeister Miguel into their home when her and Lorraine became best friends at school. This made a significant difference in our mom's life in the very best of ways. She had lost her mom early in her life and became the only child on the farm with her father. Her older siblings had moved away. Mom and Lorraine were the best of friends and became just like sisters! Mom loved the Wilson's home and felt extremely loved and felt safe within those walls.
As they got older and married, the duo became four with husbands Frankie and Wave. The four of them were very good friends.
Even a move to Utah could not pull them apart.
They continued to be in each others lives throughout all their years.
We as a family have heard countless stories of the adventures of Lorraine and Frankie, and, Viv and Wave! We hold these stories very near and dear to our hearts. We feel that Lorraine, along with her family, shaped what our family became. We continue to hold these same values to this very day. Mom wanted her family to be close, loved beyond reason, safe, and happy, just as she did in the Wilson home.
We looked forward to visit Lorraine every single year on our trips to Okoboji! Our last visit with her was this past August when Toni went back to the lake. Lorraine always made us feel loved and welcome all throughout these many years. We are so grateful to have these precious visits with her.
From our family to yours, we send our deepest sympathies. Lorraine's legacy reaches far beyond the shorelines of the great lakes and our family will be forever grateful. She will always hold a tender place in our hearts.
Much love from the Wave and Vivian Miguel family in Utah.

Lorraine was one of the sweetest ladies I have known. We had many "beauty shoppe" conversations and laughs! Enjoyed her so much. And miss her lots! Prayers to all!

I have such fond memories of Lorraine. What a kind and wonderful woman. She was one the most welcoming people and always made you feel comfortable. She and I had many laughs. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I've known "Mrs. Little" for many years since I went to Arnolds Park School grades K-12. She was the person who would give you a lunch ticket and sometimes be the one who would punch the ticket at meal time.
Later on, after becoming an adult, Lorraine and I would see each other at ARPOKI, a women's community service group for women from Arnolds Park and Okoboji areas. Occasionally, I would see her helping out at the Arnolds Park Library. Always had a smile and we would exchange pleasantries, always ending with smiles. RIP Lorraine until we meet again.
