Obituary of Ed Spieker

A graveside service for Edwin "Ed" Spieker, 72, of Milford, Iowa, will be held at 10 am, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Milford Cemetery in Milford, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 4 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford, with the family present from 5-7 pm.

Edwin Anthony Spieker died of esophageal cancer on June 26, 2023, at Accura Healthcare in Milford. 

Edwin was born in Estherville, Iowa to Lambert and Leona Spieker. He attended grade school and middle school in Milford, Iowa and went on to do farm work, odd jobs and worked for Handy Andy Yard Service for fifteen years.

Ed was married to Margaret Tillier from 1981-2000 until she passed away from cancer.

Ed enjoyed watching WWF wrestling, car races and was always willing to help out when needed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Spieker; parents, Lambert and Leona Spieker; brother, James Spieker and sister, Patricia McClintock.

Those left to remember him are his brother, LaVern Spieker of Burt, Iowa; sister-in-law, Joyce Spieker; brother, Marvin (Betty) Spieker of Milford, Iowa; sister, Mary Brons of Milford, Iowa; sister, Barbara Post of Blaine, Minnesota; many nieces and nephews.
