Obituary of Dahlia Williams

A funeral service for Dahlia Williams will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Burial will be at Milford Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, July 17th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.

Dahlia passed away on July 12, 2023.

Dahlia Vivian Williams was born on October 15, 2022 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was quickly flown to Sioux Falls because she was unable to breathe on her own. She was diagnosed with Moebius syndrome and Tracheomalacia. She spent the first 6 months of her life in the hospital with her mother, DeeJay, by her side every step of the way. She finally became healthy enough to leave the hospital and was temporarily placed in a foster home with a wonderful woman named Vicki Schrock. 

Dahlia touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. She was a beautiful, original soul. Her bright beautiful eyes and gorgeous red hair and unique fingers and toes made it impossible not to fall in love with her. She loved listening to her mom read her books and was always sticking her tongue out. She put in a good fight for her life and we are all sad to see her go, but know she is at peace in Heaven with her cousin Nevaeh. 

Survivors are her mother, DeeJay Titus; father, Clay Williams; maternal grandmother, Heather Titus (Jared Prentice) of Swea City, Iowa; maternal grandfather, Daren Titus of Arizona; maternal great-grandparents, Gary and Nancy Espinoza of Milford, Iowa; Aunt Connie Espinoza (Ross Raymond) of Spencer, Iowa, Uncle Damon Titus of Arizona, Uncle Dominick Titus of Arizona; cousins, Kato Lidman and King Titus

She was preceded in death by her cousin, Nevaeh Espinoza; great-maternal grandparents, Beverly and Dale Titus.
