Obituary of David Dubois

A Memorial Service for David Dubois, 64, of Milford will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 10:30am at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji to celebrate Dave's life and honor his memory. David Dubois, 64, of Milford, Iowa, passed away on July 30, 2023. He was born on September 16, 1958, in Iowa City. Dave was a loving husband to Becky and a devoted father to his children, Megan (Ryan) Kastner, Devin (Kelsey) Dubois, and Brian (Kelly) Dubois. He was also a proud papa to Hadley Kastner and Sawyer Dubois. Brother to Diane (Mike) Wellendorf. Brother in law and Uncle to many family members. Dave's parents, Roger and Sherry Dubois, preceded him in death.

Dave was known for being the rock of his family and to many others. He took great pride in caring for others and was always there to lend a helping hand. He will be remembered as one of the good ones, someone who touched the lives of those around him with his kindness and generosity.

In his professional life, Dave was the owner and mechanic of Coyote Motor Company. He was passionate about his work and took great pleasure in serving his community through his business endeavors.

Dave found solace and comfort in his faith and was a member of First Lutheran Church, where he worshiped regularly.

In his leisure time, Dave cherished moments spent with his family. He enjoyed tinkering with anything that had an engine and was an avid supporter of Jesse Logan Racing. His enthusiasm for these hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared his passions. On weekends, you could find him on drives to the farm with his dog Kimbo.

Dave's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be touched by his life.

Rest in peace, Diamond Dave. May your soul find eternal peace and may your memory forever be a blessing to those who loved you.
