Uncle Rich was my great Uncle. As a boy growing up being able to go up to the lake and visit him while fishing and going on the boat for a drive around the lake was definitely the highlight of the summer. I remember walking through the garage to get to the house and see all his old fishing gear and wondering what pole he was going to set me up with this time. Whenever we would go out in the boat he would ask me if I wanted to drive and of course the answer was always yes. As I got older I didn't get to see him much. But hearing about the trips mom and dad made up to visit him always made me smile. He will be missed and I personally will miss being at the cabin spending time on the doc fishing and hearing his stories. He was a great man and I know I didn't get all the stories I wanted. God Bless him and the family. I will always cherish our time together.

35 years ago, I (Leon Tuite) married Richard Anderson's sister, Darlene. We spent two or three times a summer by Rich and Berna's home. Richard and I loved fishing, so we spent many days on the lake. We found out that we had something in common, printing, myself at Union Pacific RR in Omaha and Richard at the Sioux City Journal. I have many fond memories spending time with Rich. I will miss him dearly. Brother-in-law, Leon (Lee).

I met Rich as I knew him, because I mowed the Swisher house next door on the lake. He was always a helpful and friendly guy. I loved watching him walk up to get his mail when I was there. Bless his family.

In memory of my brother, Richard. He has always been called Rich by me (sister), I have been called "Sis", baby of our family. Growing up, Rich liked to play games on people, especially his little sis. That continued the rest of his life. Rich was very caring to all his family and friends. We started emailing years ago. I would email early in the day and when 6:30 came, I always got an email from Rich. We loved doing that. God and prayer have always been part of our family. Rich, you are with all the angels, our families, and God. God bless you my dear brother, Rich. Love you always, sis.
