Obituary of Reuben Fisher

A Funeral Service for Reuben Fisher, age 47, of Milford will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00am at Downtown Church in Milford. Interment will be at St. Margaret's Cemetery in Spirit Lake. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given in Reuben's memory.

Reuben Daniel Fisher passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 47. He was born on September 15, 1976, in Cherokee, Iowa, to Jane Fisher, and the late Mike Fisher.

Reuben's formative years were spent in the charming town of Milford, Iowa, where he developed his enduring passion for pool. He honed his skills in the game from a very young age, and it would become a defining part of his life. In 1995, Reuben graduated from Okoboji High School.

On April 30, 2005, Reuben was united in marriage to Marnetta Robinson. The couple embarked on a life journey together, residing in Humboldt before returning to Milford in July of 2017. 

Reuben's exceptional talent and dedication to the game of pool was widely known. He was not only a skilled player but also a master craftsman of pool cues. His cues were sought after by players from all over which was a testament to his craftsmanship and love for the game.

While Reuben's dedication to pool was a significant part of his life, his family remained his highest priority. He never missed an opportunity to support and participate in Gabbie, Meggann and Jaxon’s sports and activities. His unwavering presence in their lives was a constant source of love and encouragement.
