Obituary of David Christoffer

A Visitation for David Christoffer, age 51, of Harris will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. 

David passed away on December 29, 2023. 

David Patrick Christoffer, the son of Robert and Mavis (Coyer) Christoffer, was born on April 7, 1972, in Spirit Lake. Throughout his life, David was a self-employed carpenter.

David most recently lived in Harris but has spent time in Spirit Lake, Phoenix, and Kansas City. 

Above everything else in life, David loved his children: Kelsey, Dylan, and Katie and his granddaughter, Ellie. He enjoyed family time, fishing, sharing old memories, cooking, and helping his mother. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Kelsey (Ben) Huff, Dylan Christoffer, and Katie Christoffer; granddaughter, Ellie; mother, Mavis Christoffer; siblings: Paul (Tammy) Christoffer and Judy Kunkel; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

David was preceded in death by his father, Robert Christoffer; siblings, Bruce and Vicki Christoffer; and grandparents: Don and Francis Christoffer; Aaron and Lillian Coyer.
