Obituary of Larry Martinson

Larry Alan Martinson was born December 22, 1960 to Ruth (Barck) and Duane Martinson in Marshall, Minnesota. Larry graduated from Milford High School, Milford, Iowa Larry grew up in Cottonwood, Minnesota and moved to Milford where he resided the rest of his life. He drove gas transports for Western Coop and Casey's. Larry was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake, Iowa. His joys included riding motorcycles, and going to sprint car and NASCAR races. He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings football games and throwing darts with his family and friends. Larry was also a pheasant hunter. Larry passed away at his home in Milford, December 4, 2014 at the age of fifty-three. Larry is survived by his brother Duane Carlson and his fiance Julie Scadden of Milford; niece, Penny Kim and husband Phil along with their children Pax and Phoebe of Miami, Florida; nephew, Clay Carlson and fiance Heather Dillingham of Everly, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Martinson; father, Duane Martinson along with aunts, uncles and grandparents. There will be a visitation on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.
