Obituary of Lorraine Jungers

Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine Jungers, 89, of Denver, Colorado, and formerly of Milford, will be 10:30 am, Saturday, June 13, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford, Iowa. Interment will be at Milford Cemetery in Milford. Visitation will be on Friday, June 12th from 5:00-7:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Lorraine Helen Jungers previously Lorraine Brandt, 89, of Denver, Colorado and formerly of Milford, Iowa, passed away on June 1, 2015. Lorraine was born November 23, 1925 in O'Brien County, Iowa, to Hilda (Nelson) Brandt and Raymond Brandt. She graduated from Hartley High School in 1943 and later married Lester John Jungers from Milford. One of Lorraine's favorite pastimes was dancing, she loved to dance. She also enjoyed golfing and reading. Lorraine was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and the Legion Auxiliary. She also volunteered her time at the hospital gift shop. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester; one sister, Joy Jones of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and by her oldest son, Larry Ray Jungers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is survived by her brother, Loren Brandt of St. Louis, Missouri; son, Lynn John Jungers of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Linda Joy Jungers of Denver; son, Lee Joseph Jungers of Denver; son, Lane Michael Jungers and his wife Janet Jungers of Denver; grandchildren, Heather Jungers, Jason Jungers, Ashley Jungers, Lance Jungers, Jordan Jungers, all of Denver, Colorado, Luke Jungers of Springfield, Missouri and Lisa Shofner of Hollister, Missouri.
