My deepest sympathy to Garnette's family. I had hoped to see you in Milford, but will be gone and unable to attend...I am so sorry. I loved Marvin and Garnette very much and don't want to lose track of you, their family. We continue to have annual family reunions, which are presently held in Pocahontas the last Saturday in July. I so hope one of you will contact me or another relative and plan to attend.
Again, my apologies for missing the service. We last saw you when your dad died---imagine those children have pretty much all grown up. Time goes by so quickly---I miss Marvin's bass voice, but sometimes hear him somewhere in my head....or heart.
