Obituary of Wayne Wiese

Wayne Alvin Wiese was born to Alvin and Evelyn on October 26, 1947 in Lake Park, IA. He grew up on the family farm in Lake Park and attended school in Lake Park. Wayne helped on the family farm most of his life and also worked for several local businesses driving trucks. He enjoyed playing pool with friends and was on a league, as well as working on race cars with friends and was part of a "pit-crew". One of his best talents was drawing and painting pictures. He was very good at it. He also enjoyed watching old westerns and movies. Wayne was joined in marriage, to the love of his life, Terry (Duus) at the Grace Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake, on December 11, 1999 and made a home in Lake Park. Wayne passed away after a short illness on June 27, 2013 at the Lake Park Care Center at sixty-five years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Evelyn Wiese and sister-in-law Kim Wiese. He leaves his wife, Terry; sister, Elaine (Dennis) Dagel of Hartley; brother Merle (Jan) of Lake Park and many nieces and nephews. Also left to miss Wayne is his dog - Callie.
