Obituary of Shane Duhn

A funeral service for Shane Duhn, age 44, of Milford, will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Shane Martin Duhn, the son of Bob Sheley and Jody Burley Sporrer, was born July 20, 1971 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He graduated from Spirit Lake High School. On September 15, 2007, Shane was married to Jodi Smith in Milford, Iowa. Shane worked at Polaris on the Victory Line. Shane enjoyed playing golf, watching football, especially the Raiders. He loved listening to music, playing video games with his son and spending time with his family. Shane passed away March 22, 2016 at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, at forty-four years of age. He is survived by his wife, Jodi Duhn; daughter, Jordaen Duhn; son, Jackson Duhn; granddaughter, Letty Rongred; father, Bob (Linda) Sheley; mother, Jody (Mike) Sporrer; brothers, Justin Duhn, Toff Sheley, Josh Sheley and Nick Sheley; sister, Robin Duhn; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Sheley, Grandma Bridges and Grandpa Sporrer.
