Obituary of Jenny Pick

A funeral service for Jenny Pick, 75 of Milford, Iowa, will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Burial will be at Okoboji Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 26th from 3:00-5:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Jenny Pick, the daughter of Hughla (Alderedge) and Lawrence Rogers, was born October 7, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa. Jenny graduated from the School of Hard Knocks. She moved to the Lakes Area in 1966. On January 17, 1970, Jenny was united in marriage to Larry Pick in Milford, Iowa. She worked as an activity director and also loved to organize family get-togethers, parties and was an information enthusiast. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and shopping at Walmart. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially during Christmas. Jenny passed away June 22, 2016 at her home in Milford at seventy-five years of age. She is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Michael Felton; daughter, Cindy Pick and son, Greg Pick; grandchildren, Cody, Katie, Jon, Olivia and Cameron; siblings, nephews, nieces and many friends. Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Hughla Kennison and Richard Rogers; Theresa Pick and Gregor Pick.
