Obituary of Barbara Pegum

Barbara Ella Pegum, the daughter of Justice Freeman Taylor and Pauline (Kreutzkampf) Taylor, was born September 20, 1934 in Albert City, Iowa. She graduated from Milford High School in 1954. On July 13, 1966, Barbara was united in marriage to Darreil (Red) Pegum of Graettinger, Iowa. Barbara worked many years as a nurse's aide. Barbara liked to play cards with her husband, Red. When living in the country she liked gardening. She loved to visit with everyone. Barbara passed away at the Hawkeye Care Center in Milford on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the age of eighty-one. She was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Darreil (Red); brother, Bruce (Marcia) Taylor of Milford; sister, Marianne Leppanen of St. Joseph, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
