Obituary of Robert Lloyd Canine

Robert Lloyd Canine, the son of Thelma Jane (Maring) and Ernest Lloyd Canine, was born November 11, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, he went to Iowa State University. Robert served his country in the United States Air Force. He was later married to Shirley Nielsen Canine. Robert worked as a contractor and lived in Arizona for the past twenty-five years. He enjoyed swimming and family genealogies. Robert passed away October 24, 2016 at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake at eighty-four years of age. He is survived by his son, Dana Canine of Arizona; daughter, Kristi Lauver of Spirit Lake, Iowa; son, Randy Canine of Arizona and daughter, Kathy Canine of Arizona; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents and one sister. A private family service will be held at a later date.
